Early Adopters After-School Program
FREE program for Bessie Haynes Elementary School students in grades 4 & 5
This program provides a structured, engaging environment for elementary students
to explore and learn about technology. In Early Adopters - Mission: Innovation,
students become astronauts, practice coding and computer skills, and learn
how technology can be used to help enhance a story.

STEAM Team After-School Program
FREE program for Crockett Middle School students in grades 6 - 8
Explore how Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math are used to solve
real world problems by becoming deTECHtives and solving the mystery of an art heist.
Students will complete projects using micro:bits, breadboards, ultrasonic sensors,
and 3D printing, while learning coding, design, and more!
Twice a week for one hour for fall semester

Grades 1-2
Zoo Squad Program is a STEAM enrichment program that prepares students to engage with the world around them and helps them understand the role technology plays in their daily lives.
Grades 3-5th
Students become astronauts and learn how technology can be used to help enhance a story by designing their own virtual reality world using CoSpaces Pro and bring their own creations to life using the Scratch and MakeCode programming languages.
Grades 6th-8th
Students put on their detective hats and use STEAM technology to solve the mystery of an art heist. Students will engage with a variety of different hardware and software to learn how tech is used to solve real world problems.
Grades 9th-12th:
Students learn to code, program, and will get hands-on with networks and computer hardware. Each participant receives a refurbished laptop computer to keep.
Ages 16-26:
Opportunity youth participate in an internationally recognized Cisco training course. Participants are awarded certificates of completion and have the opportunity to take the Cisco certification exam.
Adult Learners:
The Compudopt Digital Skills Builder Program is a digital literacy program to help adult learners navigate their way
around both computers and the internet.
Names will be chosen randomly based on the available inventory three days prior to distribution dates. Selected recipients will be notified by email and/or text message to complete the RSVP process to pick up their computer at a distribution site.
Volunteer
Volunteers help us deliver our programs, organize our warehouse, support our program teams and plan events.
