Children's Privacy


The compudopt site(s) are not specifically directed at or intended for children under the age of 13, and Compudopt does not knowingly collect personal information via the Sites from anyone under 13. Any user that believes that Compudopt has in its database the personal information of a child under the age of 13 should contact us at help@compudopt.org, so that, if applicable, we can remove the applied information.


The types of personal information we obtain about you depends on how you interact with us and our products and services. When we use the term “personal information,” we mean information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, to an individual. Audio and Visual Information. This may include photographs, images, videos, and recordings of your voice (such as when we record customer service calls for quality assurance).


Inferences. Inferences drawn from or created based on any of the information identified above.


Job Applicant Information. Including professional or employment-related information (such as education and employment history) and any other information you provide in connection with applying and interviewing for employment with us. If we retain you as an employee, this may include, among other things, your Social Security number or taxpayer ID.


Sensitive Personal Information. We only collect sensitive personal information, as defined in the applicable U.S. state privacy laws, with your consent. We do not use sensitive personal information for inferring characteristics about you.


 Approach to Collecting Personal Information


Online Site IP & Data Tracking:  as well as various data tracking technology. When you visit our website, open or click on emails we send you, or interact with our advertisements, we or third parties we work with automatically collect certain information using online tracking technologies such as pixels, web beacons, software developer kits, third-party libraries, and cookies. Customer Service Software & Technology: We may record customer service calls and maintain a transcript of chats for quality assurance. 


 Social Media Platforms: If you interact with us on social media or use features, such as plugins, widgets, or other tools made available by social media platforms or networks (including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Google, YouTube, and Pinterest) in connection with our website, we collect information that you disclose to us, or that the social media platforms disclose to us. From Other Sources: we may obtain information about you from other sources, such as data analytics providers, marketing or advertising service providers, fraud prevention service providers, vendors that provide services on our behalf, or publicly available sources. We may also create information based on our analysis of the information we have collected from you.


Do Not Track: Compudopt understands that some users may have enabled a “do not track” feature or other mechanism intended to provide consumers with a choice regarding the collection of their personally identifiable information; however, consistent with our rights under applicable law, our Sites may not support or respond to do-not-track requests or other signals sent from a web browser. 


Data & Third Party Tracking


Compudopt and our third–party partners and service providers (advertising and analytics providers) utilize tags, pixels, IP address tracking, third–party libraries, cookies, and other various online tracking technologies (collectively, “online tracking technologies”) to gather information when interacting with our website and or email communications.


 Online tracking technologies help us maintain the security of our websites and your account, prevent crashes, fix bugs, save your preferences, and assist with basic site functions.We also permit third parties and service providers to use online tracking technologies on our website for analytics and advertising, including to help manage and display advertisements, to tailor advertisements to your interests, or to send abandoned shopping cart reminders (depending on your communication preferences).   • We may share personal information through Site features such as, plugins, widgets, and/or other tools made available by social media platforms, advertisements, and or networks that may result in information being collected or disclosed between us and such parties. Their use of your information is not governed by this privacy policy.
  • If you were referred to Compudopt by a third party, then we may share certain information about you, including, without limitation, full legal name, generalized address (city, state, and zip code), and Compudopt services you have used or may use. You understand that sharing this information is voluntary and you may withdraw it at any time by contacting  help@compudopt.org.
  • We may share personal information for legal, protection, and safety purposes, such as to comply with laws; respond to lawful requests and legal processes; protect the rights and property of Compudopt, our agents, customers, and others; and enforce our agreements, policies, and terms of use.
  • If you submit a public review or feedback, we may (at our discretion) store and present your review on our Sites. If you wish to remove your public review, please contact us at help@compudopt.org .
  • We may share information in an emergency. This includes protecting the safety of our employees and agents, our customers, or any person.
  • Personal information is maintained on our servers or those of our service providers, and is accessible by authorized employees, representatives, and agents as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy.


For transparency and clarity, Compudopt may share personal information in additional manners, pursuant to your explicit approval, or if we are legally obligated to do so, or if we have successfully rendered such data non-personal, non-identifiable and anonymous. We may transfer, share or otherwise use non-personal and non-identifiable data at our sole discretion and without the need for further approval.


Third Party Data


This Policy applies only to information we collect, process, and use through our compudopt website(s). This Policy does not apply to information that we collect through other channels or any third-party websites that you may be able to access from our Sites, which may have data collection and use practices and policies that materially differ from those described in this Policy, or to any services that may be offered by our business partners. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any third-party sites.

Right To Your Personal Data & Information

Where allowed under applicable law, you may have the right to request access to and receive details about the personal information we maintain about you and how we have processed it, correct inaccuracies, get a copy of, or delete your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw your consent to our processing of your personal information. However, we may not delete your data in the following situations:

Right To Opt-Out of PPI & Cookie Tracking


Our use of online tracking technologies may be considered a “sale” / “sharing” under applicable law. You can typically remove and reject cookies from our Sites with your browser settings. Many browsers are set to accept cookies until you change your settings. Please note that blocking cookies may not completely prevent how we share information with third parties such as our advertising partners.
